Taker is the top winning Boykin Spaniel in the history of the breed. He was the #1 Boykin Spaniel in the American Kennel Club in 2010 and 2011 for breed and all breed points. He finished his Championship in five days with all majors and was the first finished Champion in the history of the breed. He is a multiple group placing Boykin Spaniel. On November 14th of 2010, he became the first Boykin Spaniel in history to achieve 100 Best of Breed wins with competition.

He is a two time Best of Breed winner at the Westminster Kennel Club (2011,2012) and a three time Best of Breed winner at the American Spaniel Club (2010, 2011, 2012). His other notable Best of Breed wins include; the AKC Eukanuba Invitational (2011), the International Kennel Club (2010, 2011), and Morris & Essex (2010).

Taker is an enthusiastic yet gentle retriever. He is also an outstanding companion animal. He is highly social and has never met a stranger. He relishes the time he spends with his kennel mates. He is by far the most mischievous of all of the Larley Boykins, hiding toys, treats and anything else he chooses!
